I went surfing Sunday and was disappointed. There were only 2-3 ft swells, and the sets were too fart apart. Then the inner sand bar started sending waves out at us, and the whole thing was a mess. Two of us just stopped and went in. I chilled out about 300ft out and waited for the conditions to calm. They didn't. They got really choppy.
I had to catch a tiny wave and dodge an oncoming back slash wave. I hit the sand bar, dug my board out and then tried to paddle in. I finally made it.
So yeah, Sunday was pretty crappy. But I have the forecast for the next three days. Ahem.
Monday- Mid to High 70's is the high. 1-2 ft swells, bad condition.
Tuesday- High 70's to low 80's. 1-2 ft swells, bad condition.
Wednesday- Mid to High 70's, 1-2ft swells, bad condition, but the waves should be nicer.
My advice? Don't go surfing for the next three days, unless you're desperate...
Good waves by the weekend, lets hope!
